If the Muslim Ummah Unite: What the Ummah Could Become

Unity Is Not Optional—It’s a Command

“Hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided…” (3:103)

True unity is not nationalism or politics—it is unity upon Qur’an, truth, and justice.

The Untapped Potential of the Muslim World

  • Powerful armies (massive manpower potential)
  • Major share of global energy resources
  • A vast population and landmass
  • Trillions in wealth that could uplift the Ummah

The core problem is not lack of weapons—it is a divided heart.

Why the Prophet ﷺ Built Unity First

  • United Aws and Khazraj
  • Established Mu’ākhāt between Muhājirūn and Anṣār
  • Built justice and worship before conquest

Power follows purification (tazkiyah), not the other way around.

Why Muslim Powers Don’t Act United Today

  • Colonial borders and engineered division
  • Fear and political dependency
  • Economic enslavement
  • Love of dunya and position

“They love the worldly life more than the Hereafter…” (16:107)

Glad Tidings: A Change Will Come

The text cites the hadith of nations gathering like eaters around a dish—yet Muslims being like foam due to love of dunya and hatred of death.

Unity Under Mahdi and ʿĪsā (A.S.)

It highlights the promise of just leadership and eventual defeat of Dajjāl as part of divine prophecy.

What Should We Do Now?

  1. Unite on Qur’an and Sunnah in homes and hearts
  2. Support one another economically and spiritually
  3. Educate the next generation with truth and courage
  4. Make du‘ā for unity and righteous leadership
